Dual Enrollment courses are DIFFERENT than Early College courses (see chart at bottom of page). The biggest difference is that Dual Enrollment courses will be PART OF the WPHS students' day in a Face-to-Face setting. It will be only Penn students taking the COLLEGE course with our very own Penn teacher (who has been approved by WilmU).
All students enrolling in Dual Enrollment and/or Early College Courses MUST apply to and be accepted into the University associated with the course (WilmU, UD, or DTCC). Please see Ms. Cuje in the Innovation Center for help with this process and/or see the handout below.
The Difference Between Dual Enrollment & Early College Programs
Dual School and Dual Enrollment are also different.

Dual ENROLLMENT is when students are enrolled in and earning COLLEGE credits while still in high school. Ms. Cuje is the contact person for Dual Enrollment courses.
Dual SCHOOL is run by Ms. Stephanie Diggins and
encourages students to learn by doing. Through a combination of self-directed exploration, support from adults as partners, and a sense of community, Dual School participants solve the pressing challenges facing our world today. Students use class time to explore and create a passion project. Ms. Diggins can be contacted at: [email protected] or by phone at (302) 323-2800 x5202 |
